ECONODAY: House prices picked up in February. FHFA house prices gained 0.7 percent in February, compared to 0.3 percent in January. The year-ago rate came in at 5.4 percent, compared to 5.1 percent the month before. Regionally, eight Census regions reported gains in February while one declined.
