Full Metal Jacket And The JFK Assassination Hoax

"I'm just a pastry!"

Jay Weidner was the first researcher to discover that the movie The Shining was Stanley Kubrick's "veiled confession" of his involvement with the faked Apollo Moon landings. Jay's theory about the meaning of the film became so popular a movie called Room 237 was made to bring it to a wider audience. Room 237 includes other theories about the meaning of The Shining but no one gives a shit about them.

Chartist Friend has taken that research mindset and applied it to the movie Kubrick made after The Shining - namely Full Metal Jacket, the greatest war movie ever made. If the director used a horror film to reveal his involvement with the moon landing hoax, then what are the odds he might do something similar with his next project which takes place during the Vietnam War...

What is the plot of Full Metal Jacket? A marine recruit goes through boot camp in the United States and then goes to fight in Vietnam. The movie concludes with a thrilling battle which revolves around the recruit and his squad killing an enemy sniper.

Who is the most famous sniper in American history? Lee Harvey Oswald

Who did Lee Harvey Oswald shoot? President John F Kennedy (JFK)

Which president started the Vietnam war? JFK

Are there references to JFK in the movie? Yes

JFK reference #1
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Do any of you people know who Charles Whitman was? None of you dumbasses knows? Private Cowboy?
Private Cowboy: Sir, he was that guy who shot all those people from that tower in Austin, Texas, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: That's affirmative. Charles Whitman killed twelve people from a twenty-eight-storey observation tower at the University of Texas from distances up to four hundred yards. Anybody know who Lee Harvey Oswald was? Private Snowball?
Private Snowball: Sir, he shot Kennedy, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: That's right, and do you know how far away he was?
Private Snowball: Sir, it was pretty far! From that book suppository building, sir!

JFK reference #2
President Kennedy was known informally as "Jack" Kennedy
The word "Jack" is contained in the name of the film

JFK reference #3
President Kennedy was known as JFK

What was the release date of Full Metal Jacket? June 26, 1987

What other historical events occurred on that date? On June 26, 1962 JFK delivered his famous "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech in Berlin to express his support for what was then West Germany.

What is notable about that famous speech? Although Kennedy intended to say "I am a citizen of Berlin" by using the German words "Ich bin ein Berliner", the fact that he included the word "ein" changed the meaning of the phrase to "I am a jelly doughnut". The word "Berliner" in Germany is only used to mean "jelly doughnut".

Full Metal Jacket is a movie about the dehumanizing effects of war. Are there references to jelly doughnuts in the movie? The term "jelly doughnut" is used five times in a scene that is about the drill instructor Gunnery Sergeant Hartman finding a jelly doughnut in Private Gomer Pyle's foot locker.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Holy Jesus! What is that? What the fuck is that? WHAT IS THAT, PRIVATE PYLE?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, a jelly doughnut, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: A jelly doughnut?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, yes, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: How did it get here?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, I took it from the mess hall, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Is chow allowed in the barracks, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, no, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Are you allowed to eat jelly doughnuts, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, no, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: And why not, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, because I'm too heavy, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Because you are a disgusting fat body, Private Pyle!
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, yes, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Then why did you try to sneak a jelly doughnut in your footlocker, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, because I was hungry, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Because you were hungry... [turns and addresses rest of platoon] Private Pyle has dishonored himself and dishonored the platoon. I have tried to help him. But I have failed. I have failed because YOU have not helped me. YOU people have not given Private Pyle the proper motivation! So, from now on, whenever Private Pyle fucks up, I will not punish him! I will punish all of YOU! And the way I see it ladies, you owe me for ONE JELLY DOUGHNUT! NOW GET ON YOUR FACES!

Is there a connection between Jay Weidner's analysis of The Shining and Chartist Friend's analysis of Full Metal Jacket?
In Jay Weidner's analysis of The Shining the caretaker character played by Jack Nicholson is meant to symbolize Stanley Kubrick and the hotel manager character with the big head of hair is meant to represent JFK who hired Kubrick to fake the Apollo missions. In Chartist Friend's analysis of Full Metal Jacket the marine recruit character "Joker" played by Matthew Modine is meant to represent JFK and the combat photographer character "Rafterman" is meant to stand for Stanley Kubrick. It's also worth noting for the hell of it that Jack Nicholson went on to play the "Joker".

What visual evidence is there to connect Rafterman to Stanley Kubrick?
Rafterman, like Kubrick, is a photographer

Rafterman, like Kubrick, is a heavy smoker

What visual evidence is there to connect Joker to Jack Kennedy?
Joker, like Jack Kennedy, is a ladies' man

Joker, like Jack Kennedy, is a (combat) correspondent
In April 1945, Kennedy's father, who was a friend of William Randolph Hearst, arranged a position for his son as a special correspondent for Hearst Newspapers

JFK's ladies man reputation derived in large part from his affair with Marilyn Monroe. Are there other Hollywood stars that JFK tried to seduce?
The famous actress Ann-Margret sang "Baby, Won't You Please Come Home" at President Kennedy's private birthday party in New York City the same year he was assassinated.

Are there references to Ann-Margret in Full Metal Jacket?

Ann-Margret reference #1
Private Cowboy: Hey, start the cameras. This is "Vietnam - the Movie."
Private Eightball: Yeah, Joker can be John Wayne. I'll be a horse.
Donlon: T.H.E. Rock can be a rock.
T.H.E. Rock: I'll be Ann-Margret.

Ann-Margret reference #2
Private Joker: Sir... does this mean that Ann-Margret's not coming?

The Kennedy assassination occurred in 1963 and took place in Dallas, Texas. Are there references to that year and place in the film?

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Where the hell are you from anyway, private?
Private Cowboy: Sir, Texas, sir.

The city of Dallas is just south of the 33 line of latitude. The number "33" is contained on a sign in the opening sequence of the second half of the movie.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Lawrence? Lawrence what... of Arabia?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, no, sir.
The movie Lawrence of Arabia was released in 1963.

There are two characters with the word "hart" in their last name, Gunnery Sergeant Hartman and Lt. Lockhart. Does that word have a connection to the Kennedy assassination?

Dealey Plaza in Dallas, where the assassination took place, is heart-shaped.

The Lt. Lockhart character is only onscreen for a short period of time. He is Joker's superior officer, the one who orders him into battle. Is the Lt. Lockhart character connected to JFK?
Jack Kennedy's real life equivalent of a superior officer was his older brother Joe who was killed in World War 2.

Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr.

Lt. Lockhart

The only piece of film showing the Kennedy assassination is known as the Zapruder film. We know from motion pictures that events that appear to be highly believable on the screen are not necessarily real or true, and many researchers believe the Zapruder film is a fake. Are there references in Full Metal Jacket to facsimiles or copies, meaning images that are not real?
The first frames of the Vietnam section of the film show a prostitute walking toward Joker and Rafterman. On the far left side of the screen is a sign on a building containing the word "PHOTOCOPIE"

The character Private Cowboy yells to the press cameraman filming the platoon 'Hey, start the cameras. This is "Vietnam - the Movie."'

Is there any other visual evidence that connects the JFK assassination to the Joker character?
JFK was shot in the head. Joker's helmet has a bullseye on it

Is there any dialogue in Kubrick's final movie Eyes Wide Shut that provides further clues for this theory?

Dr. Bill Harford: The woman lying dead in the morgue was the woman at the party. Well, Victor, maybe I'm missing something here. You call it fake, a charade... Do you mind telling me what kind of fuckin' charade ends up with somebody turning up dead?

What game is being played in that scene?
Pool which is also referred to as pocket billiards

What is the name of the first marine who gets shot by the sniper?
Eightball

Do you mind telling me what kind of fuckin' charade ends up with somebody turning up dead?
